We collect your email when you sign up for the free diagnostic, and anything you type into our contact form. We use that data to send you the thing you asked for, reply to you, and tell you when the founding cohort opens. We use Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people use the site, but only if you give consent in the banner. We don't sell your data. We don't share it beyond the providers named below. You can ask us to delete it any time by emailing hello@10xme.biz.
Who we are
10XMe is an AI education project run by Alvin Foo and Matt Wills. When we say "we" on this page, that's us. You can reach either of us at hello@10xme.biz.
What we collect, and why
Only the things you give us:
- Email address, when you sign up for the free 3-Levels Diagnostic on our homepage. We use it to send you the diagnostic, a 5-day mini-course by email, and launch updates about the founding cohort. That's it.
- Name, email, and message, when you use our contact form. We use these to read your message and reply to you.
- Basic technical data, when you load the site, your browser automatically sends its IP address and user-agent to our hosting provider (Firebase / Google) as part of normal internet operation. This is logged for security and uptime, not for tracking or advertising.
Cookies and tracking
We use two third-party tools: Google Analytics (to understand how people move through the site, e.g. how many visitors take the diagnostic) and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel (so we can measure signups and, in future, run advertising on Facebook and Instagram to reach similar people).
Both are off by default. On your first visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the site asking whether you're OK with analytics and marketing cookies. If you click "OK, sure", Google Analytics and Meta's pixel load and record page views and signup events. If you click "No thanks", or simply don't click anything, neither runs at all. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage.
We don't use any other analytics or advertising scripts. No Hotjar, no heatmaps, no session recording.
If you previously said "OK" and want to change your mind: clear your browser's site data for 10xme.biz and the banner will reappear on your next visit, or email us and we'll confirm we've honoured your request.
Where your data lives
Five places:
- Kit sends the 5-day mini-course and launch emails. Your name, email, and signup source live there so the right emails reach you. Kit privacy policy.
- Resend sends internal admin notifications to us when someone signs up or sends a contact-form message. Resend privacy policy.
- Firebase (Google Cloud) hosts the website and the backend logs of form submissions. Stored in Google's US data centres. Firebase privacy.
- Google Analytics, only if you accepted the cookie banner. Google receives anonymous usage data (pages viewed, rough location, device type) so we can see how people move through the site. We do not send your name or email to Google Analytics. Google privacy policy. You can opt out any time by clearing your site storage or emailing us.
- Meta (Facebook), only if you accepted the cookie banner. In that case, Meta receives that you visited our site and whether you signed up, so we can match conversions and (later) run targeted ads. Meta privacy policy. You can opt out any time by clearing your site storage or emailing us.
All five providers are GDPR-compliant and have industry-standard security.
What we share
Nothing, with anyone, ever. We don't sell your data. We don't hand it to advertisers. We don't share it with course platforms, CRMs, or third parties beyond the providers listed above (who store it purely so we can run the site and deliver the emails you signed up for).
The one exception: if a court order legally compels us, we'll comply with the law. We don't expect that to happen.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe (one-click link at the bottom of every email we send) or ask us to delete it. We'll purge inactive addresses after 2 years of no engagement.
Contact-form messages are kept for 12 months so we can maintain a thread if the conversation continues, then deleted.
Your rights
Wherever you're based, you can:
- See what we have on you, email us and we'll send you everything within 14 days.
- Correct it, tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it.
- Delete it, unsubscribe + email us to confirm, and we'll permanently remove your data within 14 days.
- Export it, we can send you a copy of your data in a standard format (JSON or CSV).
EU / UK residents: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We'd rather you contact us first so we can fix whatever's bothering you.
Children
10XMe is built for professionals. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we've received data from a minor, email us and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and notify current subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
